Madden's 12th Birthday

 

Madden is official 12 years old! He was such a trooper this year for his birthday.  Of course his birthday fell during the most hectic week/weekend possible for Skylar.  He was so chill and just asked to go out to dinner with a couple buddies.

We got him an ice cream cake.

Took Cooper, Ian and Travis to Korean BBQ for dinner where the boys had the goal to eat collectively 15 rib-eye steaks.  Pretty sure they made it to 12 total.  Madden had a great time celebrating!

Celebrating my birthday with my favorites. 

Madden went on a double date to the movies with his girlfriend Isabelle (the one in the blue sweatshirt) and his friends Cooper and Harper.

Just a few pictures of Skylar from viewing week.  Unfortunately she sprained her toe the weekend prior and wasn't able to dance much that week so that is all I got.

 Skylar's dance competition season has kicked off and we are all here for it.  We love supporting and cheering her on whenever she is on the stage.  This year she is participating in 4 group numbers.

 Took Madden to indoor sky diving.  He loved it to no ones surprise.

 Madden and I attended WWE Monday Night Raw together.  The tickets were my christmas present from the kids and Jake.

It's the end of an era for Madden. After 3 years straight of playing soccer year around he has decided to retire.  He never once complained about going to practice or a game, but he doesn't have it in his heart anymore to play and wants to focus strictly on football.  We couldn't be more proud of him and the work he had put into it.  He was a great teammate and player and we are excited to see what this next sports chapter brings him.

Liam stole the show at the Christmas Eve present opening ceremony. He was at that delirious baby point where he is but having the best time but you know he could crash at any moment.  Lucky for us he didn't and was having a blast with all the kids.  It was fun to have a little one for the holidays again.

I'm so upset at myself as I did the worst mom job ever and got ZERO...yes ZERO pictures on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  I think this year I was just soaking it all in and enjoying all the moments, which still isn't an excuse but I really was.  I feel like we had a blast at Christmas Eve with all the family and playing unless games of Left, Right, Center.  

I really wanted to take our time opening presents Christmas morning with the kids and enjoy that special moment with them so below is the only picture I got of any presents.  

We had a pretty chill New Years Eve by going to the Aviara Resort with the Rossitto's.  Had a nice sushi dinner and played Top Golf.  Sadly it was our first NYE without Skylar who was having a slumber party at a friends house...she was missed.
