Our summer trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming was one we will definitely never forget! We headed to Wyoming with the whole family, minus Skylar, and packed our days with so many fun adventures, beautiful scenery, and plenty of laughs. Jackson Hole is such a breathtaking and majestic place, and there was something amazing around every corner.
One of the highlights was going to our very first rodeo! It was such a fun experience and something completely different for our family to do together. We also took on whitewater rafting, which ended up being another favorite. Getting out on the river, navigating the rapids, and experiencing it all together made for such a fun day and lots of laughs.
Then there was the Delta Lake hike… a 10-mile hike that almost killed me! 😂 The hike was definitely a challenge, but making it to the lake and seeing the incredible views made every sore muscle worth it. The scenery along the way was absolutely gorgeous, and it was one of those experiences that we will probably talk about for years to come. We also did another beautiful hike as a family, taking in even more of the incredible mountains, rivers, and wildlife that make Jackson Hole so special.
One of the coolest wildlife encounters happened completely unexpectedly when Jake spotted a mama moose and her baby just a few feet away! It was such a surreal moment to see them that close in their natural surroundings. We also booked a safari tour at the last minute, and we are so glad we did. We saw elk, moose, and got up close and personal with so many buffalo. Seeing all of these animals roaming freely through such a beautiful landscape was absolutely incredible.
Another fun night was our chuck wagon dinner, complete with a delicious dinner, entertainment, and lots of laughs. Madden, Dom, and Mika even got up on stage and helped entertain everyone, which made the night even more memorable!
From the rodeo and rafting to hiking, wildlife sightings, the chuck wagon dinner, and simply spending time together, this trip was filled with so many unforgettable memories. Jackson Hole truly is one of the most beautiful and majestic places we have visited, and we feel so lucky to have experienced it together as a family. ❤️🏔️🐃
