Madden's 5th Grade Promotion - June 2023

It's the end of the era for our family.  Madden clocked out of Elementary school this year and is heading to join Skylar at Middle School.  He had a pretty relaxed 5th grade year.  Class with a handful of buddies and having Mr. Castro as his teacher made his last year at Poinsettia a blast.  

Since March he has been talking about leaving Poinsettia.  So when promotion day came he was more than ready for it.

Onto his next chapter.... I can't wait to see what is in store for him while in middle school.

Dance Recital 2023

We just had our 9th Dance Recital at Carlsbad Dance Centre for Skylar.  It is always so special seeing her on stage doing what she loves.  This year was great because since she was on the competition team we got to see her on stage more than just the one time at recital.  She did 11 dances over the recital weekend and we couldn't of been more proud.

Next year will be a big one as Skylar will be receiving her 10 year award. 

Friday Night Lights 🏈 Colorado Buffalos (Spring 2023)

Another Friday Night Lights season in the books.  Madden continues to grow as a player.  Jake is putting more responsibility in his hands when it comes to running the defense and Madden is smashing it.  He is so aggressive and will always take on the other teams biggest players.   The team had a good season, but we got knocked out in the second round of the playoffs.  His love for the sport immense and I think we are getting one step closer to pop warner.
