Checking out the Bressi Ranch Creepy Clown House with friends.

Dress up week at dance.

Hollie hosts the girls annual Halloween Baking Championship.  This year the themes were a bit harder and Skylar got pirate.  She didn't place this year, even though I think she should have.  She worked really hard on her cake this year.

Soccer season is nearing an end and its been a great season for both.

This year Skylar and Lucy didn't end up on a team with all their friends from school, but its still fun to see them at games.

Madden and all his buddies at Reids Birthday Party at the pumpkin patch.

Our trip to the Trader Joes pumpkin patch...haha!

Halloween 2019

I was telling Jake how much pressure I feel now when it comes to our Halloween costumes.  I hear from people all the time how much they look forward to finding out what we are going to be each year.   Now, I know that can sound a little like I'm full of myself, but is true.  People love seeing and knowing what our costumes are each year that I don't want to disappoint.  Our Viking costumes were so popular that I was worried we wouldn't be able to live up to that look from last year, but I must say I believe we did.  Like most of our costumes, I believe I came up with the Devil/Angel idea on November 1st, 2018...haha.  It didn't take much to convince the kids, I told Madden he would get a pitchfork and he was sold.  Skylar at first didn't want to wear a wig, but once mine arrived and she tired it one, she wanted one as well.  Which I'm so glad about because the wigs were so key to our look.  Madden of course wanted to show off his guns so he wanted the sleeves cut of his costume and Jake followed his lead.  In the end, I was so happy with how our looks turned out.

I couldn't get over how beautiful Skylar look.  She really turned into a true angel.

These two had a blast being so devilish together..more to come on that.

My little devil and angel.

None of our look would be humanly possible if it wasn't for Rochelle.  Madden demand that Rochelle to do his devil make up which he absolutely loved.  She was such a god sent and did all of our make up which made our costumes so great.  The four of us are so grateful to her.

Before heading out trick or treating a quick stop for the kids at the Rossitto house.

Mabel, Skylar and Sophie.

Suzie came down and joined in on the Halloween fun.

Skylar with her girls, Aubrey and Lucy aka Minnie Mouse and Cookie Monster.  She left to do her second round of trick or treating with them and came home with over a 100 pieces of candy.

Madden did a little trick or treating but once the sun went down he wanted to scary the crowd.  He and Jake posted up on the bank in the smoke.  People would walk by and think that Madden was fake and that Jake was real.  Every so often Jake would jump out and scary the people walking up and down the street.  They had a blast freaking adults and kids out.

It was a very typical Halloween in Bressi Ranch.  I had 1500+ pieces of candy and I handed out only 1 piece per trick or treater and after 2 1/2 - 3 hours of passing out we were out of candy by 8:00 PM on the dot.  I love giving the candy out and seeing all the kids and friends come by in costume.  Of course we get the annoying teenager's who aren't in costume, adults who have a newborn who ask for candy, or just the typical adult in no costume with no kid asking for candy.  I did my best to deny them any candy and let them all know its only for kids who are dressed up and thankfully our house didn't get egged by all the ones I declined to give candy too.

Our costumes were a huge hit with everyone giving us compliments and asking to take pictures with us.  Halloween is always so much work but I wouldn't have it any other way.  Its my favorite day of the year and I can't wait for it to be on a Friday night next year!!!

Halloween Adulting

This October was a big one for us.  I always plan our family Halloween costumes months in advice but when we got invite to two different adult Halloween parties I had to figure out costumes quickly.  I, of course, couldn't wear the costume we had planned for Halloween night, that is something a normal person would do, just wear what you have already, right! Nope, any chance we get to dress in costume I make sure we go all out and refuse to repeat any costume.

The first party we attend was a Demon, Mystical Creature, Vampire theme, so vampires we were.  The best thing about our costumes were our teeth.  They made the costume and all the other guests dressed as vampires couldn't figure out how to keep their teeth in, but ours lasted all night.  It was definitely hard to eat and drink with them, but so worth it.  We had a blast dancing and partying into the night.

Just two weeks laters we attend TJ and Gina's Creepy Clown Party.  I didn't want to go as Clown, but I wanted to be clown like so we decided to dress as Manic Mimes. This party was great because so many parents from the neighborhood and school were invite and half the people were in full make up or mask so you hardly knew who anyone was at first glance.  Jake did out make up which took our costumes to the next level.

A clown car was even at the party for a picture prop.

Keg stand off Scott, who was dressed as a keg.

Jen showed up as a mime as well, just not quite as manic as us.
