5th Grade Annual White Elephant gift exchange.

We had a holiday pickleball game.

7th Grade girls Annual gift exchange.

We had a BLAST at Chloe's Bot Mitzvah.  The kids played games, dances and ate a ton of sweets.  They loved every minute of it.

They had this really fun green screen photo booth at the party.

We celebrated Jake's birthday with tomahawk steaks, gifts and homemade ice cream cake.

We went to the botanical gardens holiday light show, which wasn't very holiday like, but still fun.

Skylar ended the year with a massive sleep over at Lucy's house, which turned into us have a very early New Years Eve the following night.  

Christmas 2022

 We did things a little different this Christmas.  Instead of the traditionally big family Christmas Eve we did it smaller and just as a family, along with Matthew and the kids went down to the Hotel Del for a lovely holiday afternoon.

We had a delicious buffet brunch.

A big plus for this Christmas was that it was our first holiday with Suzie.  It was so lovely having her down and being able to share how we do Christmas with her.  

It was a lovely 80 degrees on Christmas Eve.

The kids decorated a gingerbread house together.

The Del had a beautiful lights and made it extra special.

Tis the night before Christmas!  

We ate well, played dice games and watched football and had a very simple and easy Christmas Day!  It was just us 4, Suzie, Nana and Papa.  The kids were very happy with everything.  

Holiday Cards 2022

 This is now year 8 of us doing funny and fun holiday cards.  I can't believe we continue to keep up with it and continue to receive such lovely responses.  I wasn't as thrilled and excited about this year card as I was last years, but I heard numerous times that people thought it was our best yet.  We definitely had fun with it this year.  The more glitter we put on the better.  Jake takes the top spot for most body glitter.  Madden protested any glitter or glitter tattoo until we got to JCPennys and saw the response we received from people and he wanted to put some on.  The tradition will continue as I already have next years card in mind.
