We did things a little different this Christmas. Instead of the traditionally big family Christmas Eve we did it smaller and just as a family, along with Matthew and the kids went down to the Hotel Del for a lovely holiday afternoon.
We had a delicious buffet brunch.
A big plus for this Christmas was that it was our first holiday with Suzie. It was so lovely having her down and being able to share how we do Christmas with her.
It was a lovely 80 degrees on Christmas Eve.
The kids decorated a gingerbread house together.
The Del had a beautiful lights and made it extra special.

Tis the night before Christmas!
We ate well, played dice games and watched football and had a very simple and easy Christmas Day! It was just us 4, Suzie, Nana and Papa. The kids were very happy with everything.
What a lovely Christmas week! Brunch at the Del Coronado was lovely. The decorations and lights were amazing! The Christmas trees were filled with white barn owls, other winter white birds and creatures and lights everywhere. So many decorated trees to enjoy! It was wonderful to spend Christmas with Jake and Nicole and Nicole's family this year. Interesting to be in 80 degree weather in December. I was determined to wear my red "Christmas" coat, as you can see in the pictures! Love Suzie
