Easter 2018

This years Easter holiday was a bit of a bittersweet one for our family.  After almost 10 years of celebrating Easter at my Aunt Elsa's house, we celebrated out last one there.  She and Uncle Jon recently sold their beautiful home so we wanted to make sure to cherish our last family holiday at their home.

We had a lovely meal (BBQ by Jake), and great conversation with the whole family.  The kids were are attached at the hip.  I rarely saw Skylar and Madden unless they were asking "When is the egg hunt?"  I put the older cousins to work and had them hid all the eggs for the kids.

Getting ready to make a dash out for the eggs.

Wouldn't be an Easter without confetti eggs.

Skylar definitely made out, but I think Madden was the one who found the eggs with the most money in them.

Confetti eggs on Uncle Ron.

On Easter Sunday we were glad to be back with the Finkel Family for Easter brunch.  Janet of course went above and beyond for the kids.  She put together a really fun scavenger.  Skylar read each clue to MacKenzie and Madden and then they would brainstorm together to solve it.

They ended up with a basket full of toys and treats!

Just another fabulous Easter holiday with friends and family.
