8 years old!! How did we get here and how did it go by so fast?!?! After our big Disneyland birthday bash we kept it really mellow on Skylar's actual birthday. She woke up and had her traditional birthday donut for breakfast.
I let her open one gift before she headed off to school that morning.
Skylar is one of the hardest people to buy gifts for. She doesn't have any type of toy or craft obsession so picking out presents is never easy. This year I mentioned about getting a desk put in her room and she loved the idea so that is what we did. We had a beautiful, custom desk made and all her gifts pretty much went with her new desk and she couldn't of been happier.
She got a very special surprise when Sophie came to her school and surprised her with balloons and her present at pick up.
Her dinner request was In & Out, just like her brother.
And she asked for a homemade cookies and cream cake to top off the celebration.
