Doing whatever I can to get these girls out of the house. That day I took them to the corn maze and BJs for treats.

Cabo 2020
We are now in November and the Covid-19 pandemic is something we are are still living with day in and day out. Sadly its only gotten worse and for Thanksgiving we were being told it's in everyone best interest to not gather with family members. Well Jake and I took that to heart and decided to be as far away as possible from family and head down south of the boarder to Cabo and social distance in 80+ degree weather. I have always wanted to try Mexico in the Fall and this was the perfect excuse. Being the loyal people we are we stayed at our same hotel. The hotel was at a smaller capacity and we did our best to stay safe and keep our distance from others. After being at home for months now the beautiful Cabo water was just what we all needed. We swam, ate, swam, ate on complete repeat and soaked in all the sun we could. It was the escape we all definitely needed.
We traveled home on Thanksgiving so I must admit I did miss the annual Thanksgiving feast. Madden, Jake, and I dined on egg and bean burritos and Skylar had a hot dog. As fabulous as Cabo was I'm looking forward to next year when we can be with our family and enjoy all the Thanksgiving fixings.

Halloween 2020
Covid or Not, I wasn't going to let it ruin my favorite holiday. I had already picked out costumes for our family months and months ago, but with the pandemic still in full effect and knowing that Halloween wasn't going to be what it normally is, we made the switch. I wanted to make sure our costumes were "covid safe," but still cool looking, so Alien masks it was.
Several people in our neighborhood already proclaimed that they wouldn't be passing out candy or letting their kids trick or treat. I didn't agree with that and felt that both those could be done safely. Jake built me a candy shoot to keep with social distancing. I usually purchase well over 1000 pieces of candy, but not knowing what this year was going to look like I kept it calm and only bought 500/600 pieces. By the end of the night I still had about 200 pieces left so it was definitely a lot less people this year.
