Valentine's Day - 2012

With Valentine's Day falling on a work day for me I wanted to celebrate it over the weekend with Skylar and Jake.  I made Skylar heart shaped pancakes to start of the morning.  The first batch didn't turn out great, but the second round were my three best. 

My mom bought her a little Valentine's Day outfit that I put her in and then I gave her and Jake their presents.  Skylar is really into books.  She will drag you into her playroom and make you sit there and read each of her books over and over again.  Jake and I have been getting burnt out on some of them so I decided getting her some new books for Valentine's Day would be the perfect gift.  The second I put her gift down she started ripping it open with such excitement.  She then made Dad read each of her books to her before he even opened his own gift.  When Jake got the chance to open up his gift Skylar helped out, but after discovering it was nothing fun, she went back to her books.

I have to say I feel like the luckiest person in the world to be able to share all my love with my two favorite people everyday! I love you Skylar and Jake with all my heart!
