There is no better way to kick off Mother's Day weekend then Moms and Muffins at the kids preschool. It was Madden's first one and he was really excited for it. He was asking everyday "Is tomorrow Moms & Muffins?" It was so cute to see how excited he was to have me visit his class.
His teachers had him escort me to the table and he served our muffins and fruit. He powered down all the oranges and the small muffin and was off to playing with his friends. It was really cute to watch him in his classroom environment. One of his classmates Sophia was trying to introduce her Mom to Madden and I just saw my little boy running for cover. It was cute to see how shy he got.
My sweet Mother's Day gift. I must admit I read the first few lines and could feel my eyes starting to tear up.
That afternoon when Madden woke up from nap he asked "Is tomorrow Dads and Donuts?"
