So we are official one year away from having a teen in the house. Skylar celebrated her 12th birthday this year in a very mellow way. Skylar had been begging us for a E-Bike for months so we made a deal with her that we would get her a bike two months before her birthday but that she wouldn't get any other gifts from us and she wouldn't get a big birthday party. So we did a lite celebration with her breakfast, dinner and dessert of choice and she got to open a few gifts from family.
The last picture of Skylar in front of the fireplace is lovely. She looks so grown up. Her last year before becoming a "teenager." Love, Grand-ma
