Before signing up for Friday Night Lights this season we wanted to make sure that we got Madden on a team with friends. Madden got to play with a great group of buddies from school and the majority of them were from his actual class. He really grew from last season and was one of the top players on his team. The first half of the season he split playing quarterback and receiver and then the second after he was just catching passes and making plays. One game he even got the game winning touchdown, and other game he had two interceptions with a touchdown.
While Madden had plenty of highlights, sadly his team didn't quite end with a winning record. I'm pretty sure we ended the season with one of the lowest scoring percentage, which killed Jake and I each and every week, but not Madden. He really didn't care if they won or lost, he was just happy being out there and playing with his friends.

Lucky for us most of our team is sticking together for the Fall season, so more football to come.

Oh my gosh! These pictures and the amazing video are just great! Madden is really into the game all the time. What great spirals and catches....especially the one Madden caught over the shoulder. I enjoyed all of these pictures so much. The bloody tooth was a bit gross, though.
